This mitt gets special treatment from Akadema as it has their Praying Mantis technology. That tech allows for a uniquely designed mitt that allows the hand to be securely positioned within the mitt. This positioning should allow the hand to squeeze easily around the baseball and prevent it from rebounding back out of the mitt. As well, the mitt has the Stress Wedge pad as a part of the Praying Mantis design. This Stress Wedge pad goes between the index finger and the thumb to prevent sting and injuries that can occur from consistently catching a baseball in that region of the mitt.

Akadema extends a nine (9) month manufacturer’s warranty on this mitt!
